EMS Kits to suit Land Rover Engines

TIPS:
  • You need to choose an EMS unit either EMS 1 or EMS 2 - Both units have identical functions.
  • Be sure to order a long EMS harness to make the installation easier.
  • EMS1 units fit neatly into the Disco 1 and Disco 2 center console in front of the diff-lock / High-Low lever.
  • Be sure to clean the rear of the unit and the dash surface with a wipe of thinners or alcohol to remove oily residue before applying double sided tape. Heating the surfaces a bit with a hair drier helps to get it to stick well.

Defenders before 2007 generally use the EMS1, unless a center console or dash pod has been fitted, in which case the EMS2 works well.
The EMS1 is fitted to the edge of the dash using double sided tape.

EMS1 units fit neatly into the Disco 1 center console in front of the diff-lock / High-Low lever.
